ahh ok, I gotcha. I thought that was it, just making sure. I like that look.. man the human torch pic is great, I looked at that guys other stuff, he has a nice unique look.

"cuts" style is what some comics are colored in(the ones that influenced me anyway)
The best way I can describe it is using the lasso tool to "cut" highlight shapes and then using the airbrush
For a better example, check out the Human Torch pic on my front page, the way the highlights have hard edges on him, that the "cuts" style

For a second there I was thinking Terra from Teen Titans.

Anyway, your coloring is still excellent. I like how simplistic you kept this picture... Not too much going on in the background. Interesting airbrush change from your normal cut style. Would have to say I like cuts better, though.

Yeah, a little more airbrush on this one, but I agree, cuts will always be a part of my stuff.
Especially since it seems everyone's doing the "painted" style(nothing wrong with that, I just guess I'm "old school" lol)

Yeah, I seem to be drifting away from the cuts recently, and I agree, I really like the cuts style too, I'll never stop using them. Especially since it seems not alot of people are doing it much anymore... the painted style seems to be taking over(nothing wrong with it, but I'm "old school" I guess...)
